NUMDAM stands for NUMérisation de Documents Anciens Mathématiques (Digitization of Old Mathematical Documents). According to their website, it offers

open access to the metadata and articles published in mathematical journals.
For each journal, all the volumes published up to year 2000 have been retro-digitized. To date, 430,000 digitized pages and 20,000 articles are shown on the web site.

At the time of writing, it covers 19 journals and 23 seminars, mostly based in France, although many of the articles are in English. Among the publications covered are Annales de l'Institut Fourier, Annales de l'Institut Henri Poincaré, Compositio Mathematica, Publications Mathématiques de l'IHÉS, and Séminaire Bourbaki.
