The Canadian Journal of Physics is published by NRC Press on behalf of the National Research Council (Canada). It first appeared in 1929. It was previously known as the Canadian Journal of Research. Section A, Physical Sciences. During 1973 it was published as Journal Canadien de Physique. Since 1978 it has been published monthly.
