Acustica united with Acta Acustica is the awkwardly titled official journal of the European Acoustics Association. It is published in Stuttgart, Germany by S. Hirzel. It was created by the merger of two previous journals, Acustica (published in Zurich from [1951-1995), and Acta Acustica.

Purpose and scope

Acustica is described as publishing "original articles on all subjects in the field of acoustics".

Editorial staff

The current Editor-in-Chief of Acustica is Dick Botteldooren.

Accessibility

Acustica is a for-profit closed-access, but at about $8.00 per article it is a modestly priced journal.
